The Source is an open access, free, confidential service that works with crack, cocaine and other stimulant users (khat, speed, crystal meth, MDMA, amphetamines) in the London Borough of Wandsworth. We also offer treatment programmes for non-syimulant clients (opiates, alcohol, etc).

The Source supports people in addressing thier drug use via one-to-one key working, group work and complimentary therapies. We help users to develop new skills and enhance individual confidence levels by using CBT, ITEP, relapse prevention and motivational interviewing routes to recovery.

What we offer:

A safe & welcoming place to talk - We offer a space to take time out for refreshments and to talk to a member of staff.

Instant access - No appointment necessary. We welcome self-referrals and referrals from agencies. Clients can present at our drop-in sessions.

Structured 1:1 & Group Work Programme - Tailor-made Recovery Portfolios incorporating 1:1 key work sessions, weekly group work, complimentary therapies and peer support.

Evening Opening Hours - The Source is able to see clients every Tuesday until 7pm.

Drop In -  between 1-2.30pm Tuesdays—Fridays.

Shower & Laundry Facilities- available during drop in

1:1 Key Working – one-to-one support focusing on your psychological and practical needs.

Relapse Prevention GroupMonday afternoon group to help build skills in  e.g. dealing with cravings, assertiveness, social networks. Also an opportunity to learn from each other.

Creative Visions Group – Tuesday afternoon group exploring your emotions and thoughts in a safe creative environment.

Cannabis Group – Wednesday afternoon group for cannabis users wanting to address their smoking habits.

Breakfast ClubThursday morning drop in offering food and visiting satellite clinics with help around housing issues, JCP, benefits, etc. We also help you to look at healthy eating options, food budgeting and preparation.

Weekend Planning GroupFriday afternoon group to build confidence and strategies in dealing with cravings over the weekend. 

Service Users Group - to enable you to have a say in how services can be improved.

Complimentary Therapies - Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Aromatherapy, Yoga.

Ear Acupuncture - for detoxification, relaxation and coping with cravings.

Smoking Cessation— Clients can access this on site from staff trained to advise on the various routes to withdrawal from cigarette smoking.

Housing Supportclients can access a housing support worker when homeless or in need of housing advice.

Work & training advice – for help to find training, access courses and return to employment opportunities.

Harm Reduction - harm reduction paraphernalia (tubes, gauzes, lip balms) supplied and exchanged on site.

Blood Borne Virus Clinic - clients are offered HIV/HepB/HepC testing and HepB vaccination by the on-site nurse.

Detox, Lung & Relaxation Teas.
