ITEP

What is ITEP?

ITEP came out of a collaboration between the NTA and the Institute of Behavioral Research at the Texas Christian University. ITEP builds on an inter-nationally evaluated model of service improvement. Following its successful implementation across 12 services within Blenheim CDP this model of psychosocial interventions provides evidence based and easily evaluated tools for use by keyworkers across the drug treatment system.

Course Outline

Blenheim CDP are now offering a 2 day training course focusing on the two approaches that are designed to be delivered by keyworkers as part of their client work sessions and include: 

  • Node-link mapping
  • Brief interventions aimed at changing thinking patterns

DANOS Mapped

This course has been mapped to the following DANOS Units: AA2, AA6, BI5, AF2, AG1, AI1 and AI3.

Cost

The price for the 2 days training is £200 per person (including lunch and training materials). Individually designed ITEP training and Consultancy Packages are also available on request. Please enquire for further details.

Trainers/Materials

The training is delivered by experienced Blenheim CDP trainers who participated in the original pilot and have successfully implemented these interventions across Tier 2 and 3 services in London. ITEP work books and training materials will be provided as part of the course.

Location

The 2 day training course will take place at Blenheim CDP Head Office, 66 Bolton Crescent, London, SE5 0SE. Training will start promptly at 9.30am until 5.00pm.
