Quantum Project is a confidential service that aims to work holistically and sensitively with substance users to reduce the risk of harm to both themselves and the wider community.
We strive to overcome lack of knowledge and discrimination faced by people with drug related problems through support, care planning and education.
We work in partnership with community GP's and local agencies to promote healthier lifestyles and empower individuals with the confidence to make positive changes.
What you can expect:
The Quantum Project offers a range of services for all drug users, their families and friends, in the London Borough of Lewisham. We specialise in GP Shared Care for opiate users.
Our services are provided free of charge and in confidence. No information given by yourself will be shared with organisations and individuals outside of Blenheim CDP without your prior consent, unless there are concerns around children or harm to oneself or others.
Relapse Prevention:
We will provide general information on drugs and explore the reasons for your own drug use.
The practical strategies you develop in these sessions are designed to help prevent further lapses / relapses.
Key work Sessions:
We offer one - to - one sessions with a designated key worker. These sessions are to provide support in dealing with issues that you are faced with so that you can complete your care plan successfully.
Other services we offer:
-
We run a confidential Blood Born Virus testing and vaccination service on Thursdays 2-8pm.
-
On site housing support and tenancy sustainment support
-
Advice on education and training
-
A fully stocked needle exchange
Crack Service:
If you have a problem with Crack or Cocaine, we can offer confidential advice, support and referral into the specialist Novo service. We can also provide information and help for friends and family who may be affected by the drug use of others.
Auricular Acupuncture:
A form of oriental medicine that involves inserting fine needles into specific points of the ear. Acupuncture has proved successful in reducing both symptoms of withdrawal and craving, in substance abuse for many years now.
We also offer a range of other therapies such as Indian Head Massage and Reflexology.
