Welcome to LATCH House. LATCH stands for Lambeth Actively Tackling Crack and Housing.

LATCH HOUSE is a partnership service of two distinct yet complementary services; one the Blenheim/CDP Substance misuse service and the other NACRO hostel and housing service.

Blenheim CDP provides a psychosocial Structured Day Programme based mainly on the cognitive behavioural treatment (CBT) model from 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday and NACRO provide the 24 hour Resettlement Support Package. At LATCH we have an unwritten motto which states ‘a bird cannot fly with one wing’ meaning both services offer crucial interventions and support for drug users who are committed to making positive and significant lifestyle changes.

Referrals:

The criteria for referral into LATCH House is that you must have a Lambeth connection, your primary drug is crack cocaine, you have some involvement with the criminal justice system or be at risk of offending and be willing to address your addiction and housing issues. The referral must come from a relevant agency such as Probation, Prison CARAT Teams, Substance Misuse Team, or Community and housing services. The assessment will be a joint assessment with Blenheim/CDP focusing on your addiction issues and NACRO on your housing and resettlement support needs.

One to one individual support sessions:

After an assessment you will be assigned two key workers, one from each side of the partner agencies where you will be offered support sessions to enable you to explore your drug related issues and resettlement needs. We will work together to create care plans regarding issues such as, Legal, health, housing, employment, training and any other problems you may be experiencing.
