The Kappa Project is an open access service providing links to a variety of treatment options for clients with primary opiate dependency in the borough of Southwark.
The Project specialises in GP Shared Care arrangements and provides support to local GP's involved in prescribing Opioid medications. A central feature of the Project is the Needle Exchange which aims to reduce harm and promote safer injecting practices through accurate advice and information, in addition to providing a full range of injecting paraphernalia.
The Project works in partnership with a variety of agencies to provide a holistic service to meet the varied needs of drug dependent client groups
What you can expect:
All clients accessing the Kappa Project can expect a confidential service provided by a dedicated team of experienced workers. The project strives to deliver information and advice in a respectful manner tailored to individual need.
