The Hackney Crack/Cocaine Programme has been operating since January 2005 in partnership with the Hackney Drug Action Team.

What we offer:

We believe that individuals have the power to change the course of their lives. The Crack/Cocaine Day Programme works on a whole person basis to support individuals make a change. This is done through:

  • Structured groups
  • Social and life skills development
  • Alternative therapies
  • Open groups
  • One-to one keywork sessions

The Day Programme will support individuals to acknowledge the reasons for their Crack/Cocaine use; to look at where they are now and to create a future that does not repeat negative patterns from their past. We seek to empower individuals to deal with their lives and support them to examine their drug misuse as well as any associated offending behaviour. We strive to create a safe space that is sensitive to individual needs, as well as culture, sexuality, age, gender and disability.

Structured One-To-One Counselling:

Some clients are not ready to enter a group setting. For this group we provide structured one-to-one counselling sessions with a qualified therapeutic counsellor. These sessions are intended to begin working on a clients needs, but in an environment that will prepare them to look at their drug use in a group setting.

Who is it for?

The Day Programme is for anyone over the 18 years old in the London borough of Hackney who wishes to stop using Crack/Cocaine.

What are the Programme hours?

The Programme is full-time and runs daily groups from Monday – Friday, 10.00am – 4.00pm for 12 weeks. We can be flexible if you are a carer.
