Aims: ETE aims to support service users within the borough of Kensington & Chelsea, gain access into education, training and employment opportunities.
Objectives:

to provide one to one initial assessments for service users with ETE Co ordinator

to provide regular ongoing support

to use diagnostic tools to assess levels of literacy, numeracy, dyslexia

to map clients into suitable ETE opportunities

to provide a variety of workshops to develop soft skills
-
to provide structured accredited training for service users via 'SUNDIAL' (Serice Users Network Development in Adult Learning)
Training:
-
One to one or group training developing soft skills, including Confidence & Self Esteem, Anger Management, Boundaries & Confidentialty, Groupwork, Mentoring, Coaching & Supervision, Negotiation Skills etc

SUNDIAL Accredited Training Programme (accredited through Open College Network London Region). Consists of 6 units at level 2. Learners build up a portfolio of their eveidence of work whcih is assessed throughout the course. this course runs over a 3 month period one morning a week.

Units: Anger Managment & Conflict Resolution, Boundaries & Condfidentiality, Mentoring Coaching & Supervision, Group Facilitation Skills, Communication & Interpersonal Skills and Assertiveness & Self Esteem.
Volunteer Programme:

ETE promotes the use of volunteers as an excellent resource.

ETE volunteers to assist Co ordinator with assessments and delivery of training

Mentoring & Befriending Volunteers assist service users into ETE opportunities providing support where necessary.
