Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees are responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the Charity, in accordance with the terms of its constitution, legal and regulatory requirements and best practice. They are:

Eric Feltin - Chair

Eric Feltin, educated at MIT, began his career at Microsoft, managing aspects of Microsoft Word. From there he moved into management consulting and project management, redesigning data flows in the NHS and streamlining charts of accounts. In 2001, he and two others founded Switchfire, a mobile entertainment company. In September 2007 Switchfire was named the 53rd fastest growing private technology company by the Sunday Times (Tech Track 100). Switchfire has 23 employees, operates in 11 countries, and has retail sales of £23m per year globally. The company has been profitable since 2002.

Michael Farrell - Vice Chair

Dr Michael Farrell, is a Senior Lecturer and Consultant Psychiatrist at the National Addiction Centre, Institute of Psychiatry London. He has extensive research interests in the social and epidemiological aspects of addictions. He is a co-founder and editor of the Cochrane Collaboration Drug and Alcohol Group. He is a member of Expert Committee on Drug Dependence at the World Health Organisation.

Brian Watts

Brian Watts is Chief Executive of Equinox a Substance Misuse Charity and company limited by guarantee (Registration Number: 2114430) and a Registered Charity (Charity Number: 296694). Which employs over 300 staff, and has a budget of £15m, manages 343 bedspaces and six community based services and help some 6,000 people a year.

Ralph Weller - Treasurer 

Ralph Weller is the Project Manager at a Complex Needs facility that offers residential drug and alcohol treatment to substance mis-users with dual diagnoses, secondary illnesses and disabilities both physical and sensory. Ralph became involved with The Blenheim Project Management Committee in 1998 through his work in the field and remained to support the new organisation following the

Briony Chisman

Briony Chisman joined the board of Blenheim CDP in June 2006 when the organisation merged with the Blenheim Project where she was on the board. She is currently working towards qualifying as a Drugs Worker.

Kevin Hanner - Secretary

Kevin Hanner is Operations Manager of City Reach Health Service a pioneering project providing primary care health to the homeless, traveller, sex worker, refugee and asylum seeker populations. As a qualified Social Worker Kevin has worked with vulnerable and excluded groups in society primarily those with a history of homelessness, mental illness and problematic substance use.

Mark Edumunds

Mark has worked in the substance misuse field for 15 years, initially at the ROMA residential drug project as a social worker. In 1995 he moved into research working in the Criminal Policy Research Unit where he co-authored a number of highly influential studies. In 2001, he was recruited by the Home Office to head up their London Research Team and produced a series of reports on crime, disorder and substance misuse. Since 2006, Mark has worked as independent consultant.

Stephen Dawson

Stephen Dawson was a solicitor in private practice involved in criminal law work. He therefore gained experience of the problems associated with drug misuse through this professional connection. He has sat on a number criminal law orientated committees looking at interventions in connection with drug problems in London. He has been a District Judge for the past 12 years and sits in East London
